Vital Remains
Let Us Pray
Classical death metal from the US of A at it’s best. It seems as this band
has some scandinavian influences as they sound more like the big Swedish
bands then the old American. This is not a downside, quite the oppocite as
most American Death Metal is boring. This album was recorded in 92 and it
still very good. It might not feel as fresh anymore as we have heard this
before from some rip-off band, but the quality is higher then most.
Perhaps it’s the new innovations that have kept this fresh. The music is
somewhat satanic and I think that Decide has been played a lot at these
guy’s stereos. The music is not hysterical fast, but midtempo with
traditional vocals and good production considering it’s age. Their newest
album is a killer and I hope to be able to review it too someday.
