Great modern death metal with a big doze of trash in a quite slow tempo. These Finish guy's have really succeded after their "North From Here" which was a quite good more standard death metal album (A 3/5 I would give it). In Amok we have a really original sound with great well performed material and superb production. I like the whole album alot, but several parts are just so fucking great. Additional keyboards and female vocals also helps it reach the highest grade. I personally rank this album as one of the absolute best death metal albums.

Continuing in the vain of Amok with a development towards the trashier with more normal vocals and an overall softer sound. The production is perhaps even better on this album. It's still original and very good music with some brilliant material, but I don't like the direction this is heading in. I wouldn't call this death metal anymore. It's too soft and beautiful. A bit longer in this direction and it won't be good anymore. Still I know people who think that this is even better then Amok, so I guess it's a matter of taste. I agree on this being awesome stuff with additional female vocals that rules.
