The Call of the Woods

Here's something you don't hear every day... a female vocalist in a B.M.
band and she sings not with soprano or any other schooled singing voice
but more with hoarse gore/grim vocals. Opera IX is native in Italy and I
must say they sure sound a hell of a lot better then their south European
colleges (which, with a few exceptions sucks). The music is very well
played with some of the best material and riffs I've heard which are
mixed with some short parts of piano and/or keyboards. 5 extremely good
tracks and close to 60 min. playing time. I simply love this album, for
it's simple and original great sound and it's incredible material. I like
the vocals very much too and all this puts it among my top 10 all time
favorites. I think many of you out there like it too but I do suggest
you listen to it before you buy it since some people don't like it at
all, and it might take some time before you like it.
