Novembers Doom
Amid it's hallowed mirth

Dark and heavy doom death metal of the more classical style much like
early My Dying Bride, Diembowelment and Anathema. It's very and miserable.
The vocals are very dark but still clear and sounds very much like Dan
Swanö's on the first two Edge of Sanity albums. Several track includes a
very talented female on backing vocals with kind of a opera sounding
voice that gives it a certain touch. Over all is this a very good album
from an interesting band that's one of the better doom bands I've heard,
but it sometime seems like you heard it before. It's not very original in
anyway (apart from the female vocals perhaps) so you get the felling it's
a bit old. If it would have comed out in 1991 or 1992 it would have been
one of the leading trendsetters but now it's a good copy.
