Dark Waters Stir
A completely white album in a white digi-pack cover with only the logo
in black relief is quite original and nice. Too bad that I can't say
the same about the music. It begins with a keyboard intro and then
real music starts with fast drums, fast riffs and fast vocals. Frost
black metal has this been called, but I can't find anything cold with
it. It's a bit in the vain of Immortal with some very good riffs, but
nothing really new added. Most songs are better then the pioneering
albums from the early 90's, but today that's not enough. A good
production is always nice, but when the music isn't fresh it doesn't
help much. I am still giving this a this rating because it's better
then lots of other junk, but it could have been much better
