This is something different! I don't kow how many of you who have heard of or even seen this gal. Let's begin with some history; Kathrine Thomas was graduated as a violinist from some fancy music school as a top grader. With her main interest being classical music she toured the land and won prizes until one day when she heard Judas Priest and realised that classical music is dead. This tuned her into heavy metal and she picked up a electric guitar and became "the Great Kat" (sound like a super hero doesn't it?). If you're into Sadomasochism, Bondage, Drinking blood and listen to hellish fast metal then this is your kinda girl. Her favourite music is still the classical masterpices such as Beethoven and Chopin performed on a V-axe without mercy. This album contains two classicals by Rossini and Sarasate, plus two own songs. It's all done with great speed on electric guitar (and in one case electric violin) by this dominant guitar virtuoso. Usually these so called guitar heroes bores me as they are so damn self centred and loses it completely in their solos that never ends, but this chicks attitude and the incredible speed makes it all interesting. Sure it's not as fast as Immortal or Marduk, but these old motherfuckers are really difficult to play. The technical level is very high and I doubt that many could do this. The other bandmembers/slaves are just playing in the background really and should not even be mentioned, but they do their thing with out errors. Kat is truly a great musician with a fucking cool attitude. I know people who doesn't like her music at all and thinks her attitude is way over the top, but I guess that yopu have to view this with a sense of humour or it will only be ridiculous. I don't think that this music is for everyone, but i think it's kind off catchy... This bitch from hell was ment to rule and to spank your sorry ass 'til it's blue. This MCD is just fucking 8 min long, but it's so fast and intense that it seems longer. Still it's a fucking rip-off really and i only recommend this to those who have the stomach to take it and like it. I would really like to see what the average American think of this way to educate the kids in classical music, it's truly original and makes you realise just how good they are.

Ha ha! this video is some of the sickest I've seen. It tops the list together with GWAR, Prodigy's newest (which is banned in Europe) and Marilyn Manson. See Kat whip her slaves into obediance and lick whipped cream of her high heel boots. See Kat crucified on a blooddripping cross, see Kat perform Cyberspeed metalon her V-axe all drenched in blood. I'll tel you this video has it all. I even saw a couple of inverted crosses. I think this video has to be viewed with some distance or humour as it can be ridicilured. Blood, S/M, Fire and a sick chick dressed in leather and lace is definatly my idea of a cool video, but this is abit over the top perhaps. Just imagen Cycle Sluts from Hell with a brutal attitude from Hell, fast Metal and alot of blood and you have Kat. It all looks like a mixture of a live performance, a S/M meeting and satanic mass. This video is only 2:37 long so it's not much you get, but it's still one of my favourite videos. I also doubt you'll ever see this on you TV, but if you check out her homepage, I think you'll get a clue.
