Frost

This is Enslaved's third release counting Hordanes Land and Vikingligr
Veldi, and it's a lot better. Good material and recording plus good
production. The only thing that’s missing is that little extra that just a
few bands got, else it's very good. They are still playing their fast
Viking metal style and a couple of tracks are really sweating out. Over
all this is a very good album but that little extra is missing. Too
bad.

Eld
The Kings of viking metal is back after a long time and now the
competition has hardened. This album starts with a 16 min. long song with
some great viking feeling. The album reminds much of "Frost", but it has
better material and production. They are also using more normal vocals
then before, which I like alot, more of that guys! The music is still fast
as a few others and very brutal at parts, but I like the slower stuff with
feeling better. The atmosphere is superb in several parts of the album,
but it's not consistent. A total playing time of over 58 min. gives you an
idea of the length of the songs (7 songs). One thing annoys me. The drumms
sounds like a fucking bread basket, not good at all.
