Dismember
Like an Ever Flowing Stream
Oh my What an opening! The first song is tremendous, fast, manhandling,
intense and deadly. Musically it’s much like Entombed’s first two but
rawer. The vocals are rather ordinary deathy ones and music is kind of
boring in the long run, almost all songs sound the same except the first
and the eighth which has some nice keyboardwork. This was one of the
creators of the strong Swedish scene we had. On the tour with this
album they where stopped by the British custom, They didn’t approve of
the lyrics and didn't want to let Dismember into the country.

Indicent and Obscene
Better production and songs but otherwise as brutal and demanding as
usual. The 7th song is a beautiful piano tune which is totally different
then their other work. The last song is their best I’ve heard, a death
metal ballad called "Dreamingin Red", it’s very original and good. I
haven’t heard their Pieces EP. nor the new full length which is suppose to
be their best one because I lost all interest in this kind of music.
