Ancient Wisdom
For Snow Covered the North
Black/Doom metal with lyrics in the vain of Immortal. Very nice music with
good riffs and nice keyboard work. The music sounds like ordinary B.M. but
it's so slow I call it doomy. This makes the music also more beautiful
then other B.M. bands. I like the music and the riffs alot, plus that the
production is very good, but the vocals are abit to ordinary grimm to be
anything special and that draws the rating down a bit. It some times
reminds of Bethlehem, but only briefly. A plus is the long playing
time of 59 min.

Ancient Wisdom is back wit hanother album and it seems that alot of things
have happened in the band. If I'm not totally wrong it's nowadays a solo
band or almost a solo band. Still it's a great band and this album is
better then the debut. They have learned alot and the material, the
production and the perfomance has improved. It still reminds heavily of
the debut and it's still original and good Doom/black metal worth checking
out. Cool with a red CD...
