Extremely symphonic rock black metal??? Well that's the best way I can describe it I guess. They use very much keyboards and its very well produced. The vocals are both normal and grim and quite brutal ones in oppocite to the music. The drums are handled by the living legend Hellhammer and this band also features Garm from Ulver. This music is very far from the brutal sond of Mayhem and Immortal which is Hellhammers other bands, but it's sometimes quite close to the harmonic and beautiful viking music produced by Ulver. This has more keyboards and electric guitars thought and their rockish feeling makes it highly original. This is mostly brilliant but a few parts are wierd.

La Masquerade Infernale

Wierd wierd wierd. Psychadelic opera & metal combined in a extreme form. Or maybe the hippie culture has struck on metal? Lots of male opera like vocals and choirs and lots of f/x's, keyboards, violin and piano. It's very hard to categorise this music, it's nothing like anything I ever heard before.This is very god, but I strongly recommend that you listen to it, either in a store or find a mp3 clip somewere, before you buy it. Some parts are very majestetic and several of the riffs rule. It's also very well produced and it's one of those albums that one can listen to over and over again almost endlesly.
