Aeturnus
Dark Sorcery MCD
The debut MCD of a very original norweigan 3-pice. It's mainly the same
members as on the fullength below, but the bassist is incognito. The Music
is very dark and mostly slow and doomy black metal with few, if any
similarities with other bands. Good production and good material makes
this equally good as their fullength so it's well spent money. Oh, it's
almost 21 min. long.

Beyond the Wandering Moon
This begins with a Mozart inspiered (or is it Beethozen) piano intro.
it's slow very dark and almost doomy B.M. that reminds abit of Bethlehem,
but it's better and feels more fresh. it doesn't get as easily boring
either. Very nice melodies and good production. It's not very evil at all,
but it has a great dark atmosphere. The lyrics reminds heavily of
Immortal. The most interesting thing about this band besides their
original style must be the fact the they have a femal bassist. Usually the
girls just sings or plays some keyboards (Not that they aren't good at it,
just listen to Gehenna or Theatre of Tragidy or Storm) but to have a more
basic place in the band is quite unusual. Still I think it's nothing to
pick on as she does just as good job as the guys and they should not be
treated diffently just because of that. Instead if you look for dark doom
black metal with originality and quality then this is something for
you. And it's 65 min. long too!
