The Sun of Tipareth

this is a really good album, I didn't like their first one (Barathrum V.I.T.R.I.O.L) except for the incredible intro, but this is a major change to the better. Although they are from the states they got lot of that Scandinavian sound. The songs are really wild and well written with texts about the Ancient Ones. I just want to hear this album over and over again.

The Third Storm of Cythrual

Great intro and then it blasts of in a hellish speed. Hight pitchy vocals and fast music which all just ouzes 80's speed metal. This is the 90's answer to the 80's speed metal wave. It's more mature and better done, but the feelings and speed is there. The vocals can be annoying at first, but when you learn to like them, you'll love'em. It's great riffs and it's well performed, well produced and has the right amount of keyboards and fx. This can be a bit hard to listen to and some of you might not like this at all so listen to it first before you get it, and if you get it - get the digipacked version with a good bonus track. you will still get the great looking booklet within it so you won't miss a thing.
